The sleigh waits in the snow, the Finnhorse stands ready in front of it, and your group settles under warm blankets before the ride begins.

As the horse steps forward, the moment changes. The farmyard slips behind you, the sleigh runners meet the snow and the winter landscape opens slowly around your group. You feel the cold air on your face, the warmth of the blankets around you and the steady movement of the Finnhorse ahead.

This experience is simple, close and easy to enjoy. You sit together in the sleigh while the horse carries you through Ronivaara’s winter surroundings. The pace comes from the Finnhorse, and the feeling comes from sharing a quiet winter moment with your own group.

The Finnhorse gives the ride its character. In front of the sleigh, its strength and steady working rhythm become part of the experience. From the sleigh, Kuusamo’s winter feels close, real and beautifully unhurried.

A winter journey in the Finnhorse’s rhythm

This private experience is for travellers who want an easy winter moment that fits naturally into the day.
