During the visit, you step into the everyday life of a real Finnhorse farm in Kuusamo: the stable, the farmyard, the horses, ponies, sheep and chickens.

Your local guide welcomes you to the farm and introduces you to Ronivaara’s animals and stable life. You get to meet the Finnhorses and ponies, hear about Finland’s native horse breed and learn how horses are cared for in everyday farm life.

The visit includes time with the animals. Depending on the situation and your guide’s instructions, you may get to brush, care for or feed the animals. Children can get close to the horses and ponies in a calm and respectful way, while adults get a genuine glimpse into life at a Finnish horse farm.
